Valerie will guide you through self care techniques for releasing tension held in the upper back, shoulders and neck. You will explore self massage and stretches for myofascial release, while tuning into your breath and developing a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection. Have a couple household items handy including a small blanket or bath towel, a pair of thick socks and your healing hands.

Valerie will guide you through Gua Sha techniques for the face and neck. Gua Sha is an ancient scraping modality rooted in Chinese Medicine that promotes the smooth flow of energy, or Qi. You will explore safe applications of scraping to increase circulation, relieve tension and reduce inflammation.
